Claraiona was born from two women whose stories live in every creation I make.
My grandmother, Clara June Vance, never wrote on an envelope — she left it blank to be saved for a rainy day. She believed beauty should be kept, not rushed. My aunt, Iona, wrote endlessly — words spilling across pages until one became the screenplay for Fly Away Home.
